| I wrote Hubert's Brain for Wild Brain Inc. in San Francisco, chronicling the wild adventures of a highly bullied nerd. In 2001 it won the ANNIE AWARD for Best Short from ASIFA, the International Animated Film Society and First Place in the World Animation Celebration. |

I was one of six screenwriters originally working on this animated feature, done entirely in a 2-D table-top stop-motion technique called Lumage. Once production began I left the writing team to assume the role of Supervising Animator and Sequence Director. Among my contributions to the film was the creation of the villain's pet, Ratatooie; half rat, half armadillo and entirely disgusting. |

| I began writing for Sesame Street right after USC Film School. Several years later I connected with John Korty who had created an animated series for them called THE ADVENTURES OF THELMA THUMB. I wound up writing, directing and animating the series for several years. Because it was done in a stop-motion technique very little in the way of artifacts remain. Kermit agreed to stand in for the body of work. His friend Rex was a gift from a producer at PIXAR where I did some writing and character development as a freelance Creative Director. |
